Privacy Policy

• Account details. Your name, email address, and profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar from Google. We never see your Google password.
• Booking details. The salon, service, team member, date and time, and any notes you add to a booking.
• Reviews. Ratings, tags, and comments you leave after an appointment.
• Salon information (for salon owners). Salon name, address, contact details, services, prices, staff, photos, and opening hours.
• Payment details (for salon owners). Subscription payments are handled by a licensed payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers. We keep only a payment token and the last four digits of the card.
• Technical data. Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) needed to run and secure the service.

We use your data to:

• create and manage bookings between you and salons
• send transactional emails: booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and waitlist notifications
• manage salon subscriptions and billing
• display public salon profiles and customer reviews
• keep the service secure and improve how it works

We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

• When you book an appointment, the salon sees your name, contact details, and your booking history with them, so they can serve you.
• Salon profiles, services, prices, and the reviews customers leave for salons are public.
• Reviews a salon leaves about a client are private. They are visible only to owners of salons that client has booked with, never publicly.
• We use a small number of service providers to run Pretty, covering hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, payment processing, address search, and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

Pretty uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta, to understand how well our posts and ads on Facebook and Instagram work. It may set its own cookies. You can block it with any standard ad or tracker blocker without affecting how Pretty works.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile is removed and past bookings are anonymized, except for records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for salon subscriptions.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Most of it is editable directly from your account. For anything else, email us at hello@misfitsdev.club and we will respond within 30 days.

Data deletion on request. If you want your account and all personal data removed, email us from the address on your account and we will delete everything we hold about you, except records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices. We will confirm by email once it is done.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Pretty is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.
